Peter Schouten, an Australian artist achieved front-page coverage in international newspapers for his image of 'Homo floresiensis' painting. The University and the National Geographic Society purchased this painting jointly, and the society then acquired the image rights.

Jean-Pierre Luminet's creativity in art and science and his intelligence to create "humanism of knowledge" is highlighted. Luminet suggestions on plunging, interpenetrating and vertiginous illogicalities of dynamic space are discussed.
