A switch in time

Article Abstract:

Researchers have developed nanosized memory devices that are years ahead of its time, as it stores the zeroes and ones of binary information in the switchable states of organic molecules. IBM's prototype-change random access memories (PRAMs), which are just a few nanometers big, and molecular memory will be catering to very different markets and they are unlikely to compete with each other.

By chance or by design?

Article Abstract:

Quantum traveling is offering quantum objects such as hydrogen atom - a way to cross an insurmountable energy barrier that cannot get over 'classically'. It is claimed that enzyme's vibrations can be used to make tunneling easier. It is also argued that the proteins could use dynamic behavior such as their molecular vibrations- to squeeze the hydrogen through the energy barrier.
