Slimming foods

Article Abstract:

Market research shows that slimming foods have been popular in the United Kingdom during the 1990s. Market sales have expanded by 63% in five years. Meal replacement products such as Slim-Fast have been enormously popular. Evidence suggests that Slim-Fast dominates the meal replacement sector due to heavy advertising. Many Britons choose to slim by taking more exercise or changing their eating habits.

Angling for an anapole

Article Abstract:

Scientists have established that the atomic nucleus has a parity-violating magnetic anapole moment. Laser measurements of atomic parity violation in caesium at the University of Colorado detected a small change in sub-particle transition. Previous research work has suggested since 1957 that magnetic anapoles exist in the atomic nucleus but, until now, no proof has been established.
