Bad weather ahead

Article Abstract:

Scientists and policymakers are trying to analyze the relationship between global warming and tropical storms, as the 2006 hurricane season is getting under way in the Atlantic basin. Predicting future hurricane activity requires greater understanding of how natural climate fluctuations interact with global warming and in the US 2005's destruction has prompted a new round of calls for hurricane preparedness and mitigation measures.

Vertical structure of recent Arctic warming

Article Abstract:

The vertical structure of the temperature change in the Arctic during the late twentieth century is examined. Results show that the changes in the heat transport is the main reason behind the observed Arctic warming.

Funding edict for mission has NASA over a barrel
