Bombing and Sonoran pronghorn: a clear and present danger?

Article Abstract:

A part of Sonoran pronghorn habitat is used by the United States Airforce (USAF) for bombing exercises which could endanger its subspecies. Researches are conducted to monitor protocol that would eliminate live ordnance delivery in the vicinity of pronghorn by the USAF and United States Fish and Wildlife Service.

Home range, habitat use, and nocturnal activity of coyotes in an urban environment

Article Abstract:

Research on radio-collared coyotes from 1996 to 1998 shows that urbanization is associated with widespread and multi-scaled disturbances in their behavior. Habitat patch types in the Tucson, Arizona study region included parks, washes, roads, and vacant, commercial, residential and natural areas.

Effects of military operations on behavior and hearing of endangered sonoran pronghorn

Article Abstract:

Military activities affecting behavior and hearing of the Sonoran pronghorn is studied. Results indicated that the military activities studied only had a marginal influence on Sonoran pronghorn.
