Collective action and social capital of wildlife management associations

Article Abstract:

Collective decision making of landowners is important in the management of white-tailed deer in areas with dense landownership patterns, especially in Texas and social capital in cooperative management of common-pool resources has other public benefits too.

Spatiotemporal responses of reptiles and amphibians to timber harvest treatment

Article Abstract:

The influence of clearcut and selective timber harvest treatments on spatial and temporal variability of amphibians and reptiles from east Texas bottomland hardwood forest is compared. The dataset represented a time series of 5 years post-treatment.

Quantifying spatiotemporal overlap of Alaskan brown bears and people

Article Abstract:

Salmon are an important food for Alaskan brown bears and Alaskan tourism focused on sport fishing for salmon that resulted in interaction of humans and bears. The study aimed at quantifying interactions between bears and people.
