The details pertaining to the deforestation of the Amazon Rain Forest, in Brazil, especially due to selective logging, studied using new satellite-imaging analysis techniques, are presented.

Conservation hotline: massage technique for the birds

Article Abstract:

A conservation effort for kakapos, a flightless parrot in New Zealand is discussed. Massaging technique had to be used on the bird to collect semen samples for the Kakapo Recovery Program.
