DNA standards

Article Abstract:

Advanced Biotechnologies Inc has introduced its new DNA standards for positive and negative controls in DNA amplification reactions. The DNA standards were prepared from DNA viruses, retroviral infected cells and uninfected cells. They allow researchers to amplify or test for any region of the genome which is present in infections. They may also be used for nuclear hybridization reactions to detect infectious agents, cloning of viral sequences, quantitative polynerase chain reactions and virus detection or quantitation assays for antiviral drug testing.
