Analysis and conservation implications of koala genetics

Techniques have been developed to identify genetic problems in koalas. Evolutionary significant unit (ESU) and management unit (MO) will be useful in the genetic management of koalas.

Incorporating habitat mapping into practical koala conservation on private lands

Community and field survey are done to map koala habitat. The local government authorities use these results by incorporating them into their local environmental plans.
