Does global warming make Triton blush?

Article Abstract:

Triton is currently geologically active and plumes have been observed, as well as streaky deposits. Its atmosphere transports volatiles during its seasonal cycle and atmospheric pressure fluctuates. Four spectra of Triton have been obtained using the Hale telescope and double spectrograph at Palomar Mountain Observatory. Observations indicated that the temperature increase on Triton between 1989 and 1997 could be due to material deposition from a geological process.

Global warming rows

Article Abstract:

The likelihood that global warming will occur by the year 2050 should spur the International Panel on Climate Change to seriously evaluate its current strategies and develop effective schemes to deal with the problem. The international group has been criticized for being too protective of its findings and ineffective in convincing governments to adopt necessary policies to avert this environmental disaster.

Berlin and global warming policy

Article Abstract:

Participants in the oncoming global conference on the Rio Convention on Climate Change in Berlin should acknowledge the rising threat of global warming caused by greenhouse gas emissions. Signatories to the treaty should ensure that the monitoring of the existing trends on the earth's surface is planned in such a manner that the threat of global warming is dealt efficiently.
