This article examines how plant and animal migrations from Australia have influenced biodiversity in New Zealand. Topics addressed include how the wind and ocean currents can carry seeds and animals to New Zealand, as well as the role of humans in this exchange.

Growing native weeds

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the threat native plants can pose to natural reserves if they are left to grow wildly are examined. Topics include threats weeds pose to the habitat of Mt Martha, the manner in which plants that leave their native habitat become invaders of others, and suggestions for controlling the spread of weeds.
