Epitaxial self-assembly of block copolymers on lithographically defined nanopatterned substrates

Article Abstract:

The integration of thin films of block copolymer with advanced lithographic techniques to induce epitaxial self-assembly of domains is demonstrated. The successful working of hybrid strategies to nanofabrication will allow the molecular level control in existing manufacturing processes.

Spatially restricted microRNA directs leaf polarity through ARGONAUTE1

Article Abstract:

Potential targets of microRNA regulation are the homeodomain/leucine zipper genes PHABULOSA (PHB) and PHAVOLUTA (PHV). 21-nucleotide microRNA that directs cleavage of PHB/PHV messenger RNA accumulates first in embroyonic meristem is reported.
