Evolutionary capacitance as a general feature of complex gene networks

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on complex gene networks. The authors have used numerical simulations of these networks in the effort to investigate the mechanism extending the scope of evolutionary capacitance beyond the action of Hsp90, which is a molecular chaperone targeting a set of signal transduction proteins, and they report that genes reveal phenotypic variation when functionally compromized.

Induction of gadd45Beta by Nf-kB downregulates pro-apoptotic JNK signalling

Article Abstract:

NF-KB compounds were found to downregulate the c-Jun aminoterminal kinase cascade, forming a link between NF-KB and the c-Jun aminoterminal kinase pathways.
