Formulation of a Roman cosmetic

Article Abstract:

The formulation of a Roman cosmetic medicine of a whitish medicinal or cosmetic cream is detailed. The cream slightly granular contains 50% carbon and 8% hydrogen with no detectable sulfur or nitrogen, indicating that protein is not a significant component, and the white appearance of the cream suggests a degree of refinement in the technology used to produce it.

A polymer/semiconductor write-once read-many-times memory

Article Abstract:

An architecture for a write-once read-many-times (WORM) memory, based on the hybrid integration of an electrochromic polymer with a thin-film silicon diode deposited onto a flexible metal foil substrate, is reported. Results indicate that the hybrid organic/inorganic memory device is a reliable means for achieving rapid, large-scale archival data storage.

Demonstration of an all-optical quantum controlled-NOT gate

Article Abstract:

Computational power, coupled with the development of robust error-correcting schemes has fuelled extensive efforts to build quantum computer. A report on the unambiguous experimental demonstration and comprehensive characterization of quantum CNOT operation in an optical system is discussed.
