Habitat selection of Rocky mountain elk in a nonforested environment

Article Abstract:

The habitat selection in a nonforested area by Rocky Mountain elk (Cervus elapus) is determined by population level models and associated predictive maps. The shrub habitats are preferred by the elk in the areas devoid of forest cover.

Habitat selection of female Turkeys in a managed pine landscape in Mississipi

Article Abstract:

The seasonal habitat selection by female wild turkeys on a well managed pine landscape in Mississipi indicates that the well managed pine landscape provides a favorable habitat for wild turkey during most of the time in the year.
