Pre-Christian attitudes toward animals

Article Abstract:

Ancient civilizations' reverence for animals can be seen in the representations of bison and cattle on cave walls in the Paleolithic period. Strict rituals were observed in the sacrifice of meat in order to give homage to the spirits of dead animals.

Animal Damage Control: laying waste to the land, the animals, and public trust

Article Abstract:

The Animal Damage Control program of the US Department of Agriculture will eventually lead to the extinction of all wild animals in the country. The agency uses M-44 to kill the animals that are considered threats to livestock.
