How to survive a warming world

Article Abstract:

The analysis shows that the various human communities of the world have already adopted the environmental changes of the world, as they have all the knowledge and information related to it and hence have already devised new measures to come over the problems. The African committees have developed several strategies, in collaboration with other organizations to change its approach towards surviving in the changing world.

How much will it cost to save the world?

Article Abstract:

Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change, which concluded that tackling climate change would cost 20 times less than doing nothing, has come under immediate attack by economists and environmentalists. The report however contains a comprehensive meta-analysis of existing studies on mitigation costs and though it won't be the last word on the cost of global warming, it has upped the stakes in the debate.

'Political fix' saves Kyoto deal from collapse

Article Abstract:

The European Union has had to make a series of concessions in the most recent round of climate change negotiations in Bonn, Germany. The main concession was a withdrawal over the use of carbon sinks. Almost 180 nations have now agreed to rules that move the Kyoto Protocol one stage further towards coming into effect in 2002.
