Is science losing its objectivity?

Article Abstract:

Scientific objectivity depends upon the organization of research work. Post academic science is fast replacing academic science, resulting in a philosophically and sociologically different knowledge base. Research results, considered to be intellectual property, are increasingly prone to commercialization. This implies that post-academic science is not committed to the enhancement of public knowledge. Post modern scientists need to strike a balance between objective knowledge and the fulfillment of their social needs.
