Kondo physics in carbon nanotubes

Article Abstract:

Research is presented that shows how carbon nanotubes that are single-walled and electrically contacted can be used as powerful Kondo physics probes, to show how universal the Kondo effect is. The carbon nanotubes used are one-dimensional quantum dots with three-dimensional gold reservoirs.
