Article Abstract:

Issues concerning global warming and increases in emissions of carbon dioxide are discussed. Particular attention is given to ways in which ecosystems might acclimatize to warmer environments and to soil changes in warmer weather.

Strong radiative heating due to the mixing state of black carbon in atmospheric aerosols

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the influence which the black carbon content of aerosols has on the radiative properties of the Earth's atmosphere. The resulting climate changes are discussed.
