On the road to Myanmar

Article Abstract:

Tiger traces: after training in big-cat identification, a talented team sets out to count tigers in Myanmar

Article Abstract:

Tigers are disappearing from the world as a result of hunting, habitat destruction, and the growth of human population and continual land use. Myanmar is one country where tigers live but little is known about their distribution or status. In attempting to count tigers in Myanmar, conservation scientists face the challenges of narrowing their range and habitat and locating the tigers.
