The King of Syndications

Article Abstract:

The growing practice of real estate syndication is expected to grow even more due to recent changes in regulatory rules. The concept of syndication is explained. A case history of an actual syndication project is reported with each stage of the process explained. Financial aspects of the syndication are shown in tables. The use of the limited partners' capital contributions, the developer's costs and projected benefits to limited partners are shown separately. Success in this type of project is usually dependent upon the people involved doing their jobs properly.

Orbits of all sorts

Article Abstract:

A new set of approximate special solutions where a large number of bodies progress around a looped path, is proposed by Gregory Buck. There are problems in identifying the central configurations of n-body solutions. In general, directional requirements introduce new complications for three particles that are not aligned. Buck's closed loop solution satisfies a similar situation to that in the central configuration problems, and he argues that for large enough n, the motion approximates a limiting motion.
