South-polar features on Venus similar to those near the north pole

Article Abstract:

The observation report on south-polar region on Venus, which shows cloud morphology similar to north, pole but with faster rotation speed than the northern dipole is presented. The spectroscopic properties indicate that the clouds around the south pole are composed of sulphuric acid.

A dynamic upper atmosphere of Venus as revealed by VIRTIS on Venus Express

Article Abstract:

The study report on thermodynamic equilibrium emission that controls the structure of the upper atmosphere of Venus is presented. Findings were based on the observation from the Visible and Infrared Thermal Imaging Spectrometer (VIRTIS) on Venus Express.
