Article Abstract:

The Striped Cleaner Wrasse, the main cleaning species is removed from some of the reefs around Lizard Island in order to observe the changes in the resident and to visit the population. The movement of the visitor fish towards the cleaners suggests that cleaners play a crucial role in local fish abundance and diversity.

Penis bone

Article Abstract:

Several hypotheses in relation to the functions of the penis bone in mammal species are presented. For this purpose the baculum size, degree of sexual dimorphism, duration of copulation and occurrence of induced ovulation in 53 species are compared.
