The Endangered Species List

Article Abstract:

The lack of uniformity in the listing of endangered species in various countries is causing confusion as to what species are really legally endangered. A case in point is the unclear status of the African elephant, which is considered endangered by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species but is only listed as 'threatened' in the US.

Article Abstract:

'Animals' Agenda' campaigns for the snaring, immunization and spaying or neutering of feral cats. Their aim is to halt the rise in feral cat population and rabies cases in Fairfield County, CT. Statistics on feral cat age and sex ratios and mortality rate are presented. A cat snare is illustrated.
