Article Abstract:

It is extremely common across the world for animals to be exploited as part of efforts to extract money from tourists. Examples include bullfights in Spain, dancing bears in India and elephant shows in Thailand. Tourists concerned about animal welfare should try to make a complaint to the local animal welfare group or to the tourism representative.

A battery of evidence

Article Abstract:

Compassion Over Killing has obtained evidence of the maltreatment of hens at facilities operated by International Standard of Excellence-America. On a secret visit to a unit in Cecilton, MD, it was found that hens were being kept in extremely overcrowded conditions, with many showing signs of injury and disease.

SAEN Opposes Insane Research

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture received a complaint alleging violations of the Animal Welfare Act by prominent laboratories nationwide. The complaint was filed by the Stop Animal Exploitation Now group based on severe confinement, restraint, and deprivation of water during brain experiments done on primates.
