Molecular dermatologist Angela Christiano from New Jersey is researching on genes that underlie human hair disorders. She has used mice models for tracking down genes involved in human hair disorders and her work might end up with a cosmetic use, saving people with normal but unwanted hair from shaving, waxing and depilation.

Biologist get ball rolling to aid neglected invertebrates

In order to preserve the invertebrates, conservation biologist have been developing comprehensive plans that would cover all types of invertebrates. Two documents are to be developed by the consortium that will bring to light the decline of the invertebrates and the possible ways to reverse it.
