A short cut to the nucleus

Article Abstract:

Genetic research indicates that the intracellular biochemical presenilin-1 is directly involved in the Notch intracellular domain (NICD) release mechanism. NICD travels to the nucleus to induce transcription in deoxyribonucleic acid-binding process. Evidence suggests that presenilin-1 is also active in the aging process.

JNK is required for effector T-cell function but not for T-cell activation

Article Abstract:

New mouse models with peripheral T cellsHowever, JNK was necessary for T -cell differentiation: there was no production of effector T-cell cytokines in the absence of JNK.
