The problems faced by carbon-offset schemes for fighting against global warming in developing countries are discussed. India is facing problems with the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), although it is one of the first nations to adopt carbon trading.

Congress grills officials over biosafety boom

The U.S. Congress questioned the officials to ensure a rapid development of the laboratories keeping pathogens. It appears that by saving the public from dangerous pathogens can be of great help in making the country a lot safer.
