Whistleblowers in peril

Article Abstract:

The Bush administration has announced that the Clean Water Act does not apply to the federal employees, as the US government is not listed as a person in its definition of employers from whom the whistleblowers could claim in case of payback by their bosses. The water law was written to protect workers in the private and public sectors who report breakdowns in its enforcement, manipulations of science, or clean-up failures.
