Indoor 'billboard' firm now active in Phila

Article Abstract:

Next Generation Network (NGN) is the owner of indoor billboards or instore screens that are rapidly appearing in the Greater Philadelphia, PA, area. The company has just opened a branch office in Philadelphia, PA. These contact screens show advertising messages interspersed with entertainment and news features such as local news, local weather and local sports scores. NGN's indoor billboards are usually placed within supermarkets, convenience stores and at newstands in high traffic areas.

It's off to prison for Infocommercial exec

Article Abstract:

Regal Communications' former CEO Arthur Toll has been sentenced to serve a four-year prison term on Dec 3, 1999. Toll was charged with securities fraud and other criminal cases to which he pleaded guilty. He will serve a three-yr supervised release and ordered to pay a fine of $10,000 and a total of $1.2 million to his stock fraud victims. One of his victims was comedian Joan Rivers who lost millions of dollars instead of receiving an expected $15 million return on her investment.
