Moving the museum's ethnographic collections: a conservation approach
Article Abstract:
The protection of items in the ethnographic items in the collection of the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania during a move is described. The collection was being moved from a basement to a state-of-the-art storage facility which would protect the items from environmental damage.

Setting the record straight: the contorted history of the Museum's Theseus mosaic
Article Abstract:
The sections dealing with everyday life in the Museum's newly installed Roman World Gallery that uses a third-century mosaic to exemplify a typical Roman floor is discussed. The current status of the mosaic which, led to reexamination by the Tunisian Department of Antiquities is examined.
