Weber's problem with attraction and repulsion
Article Abstract:
A particular Weber's problem with continuous location theory deals with constrained situations in which both negative and positive weights are attributed to users. Cases such as garbage dumps have need of an exact algorithm which takes into account attraction and repulsion of a particular location. Application of the proposed algorithm resulted in satisfactory solutions for both constrained and unconstrained cases. Extensions of the algorithm also enables the inclusion of nonlinear functions of distance in the model.

Tizanidine for spasticity
Article Abstract:
Tizanidine has been found effective for decreasing symptoms of spasticity from multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury. These spastic symptoms include increased muscle tone, daytime muscle spasms and nighttime disturbance from spasms. Marketed as Zanaflex by Athena Neurosciences, it has been approved by the FDA. Tizanidine is taken orally and is about as effective as baclofen, which must be administered by implantable pump in many patients. It is not certain if tizanidine can replace baclofen for those patients.

The durable dhow
Article Abstract:
Traditional Omani dhows use shell-built construction, beginning as simple dugouts with planks sewn on to create a hull. Larger dhows have planks sewn to a keel. Shell-building means that planks are attached one at a time, instead of creating a frame first as the Europeans did. Dhows are classified into several different types based on the shape of the hull. Omani dhows had sailed to China by the 8th century. The traditional method of shell-built construction is still being used to make dhows today.
