Different strokes for different folks
Article Abstract:
The Scotsman newspaper has won many design awards, including being voted the best-designed newspaper in the 1997 Society of Newspaper Design competition, although the design has continually changed under different management. The most significant changes began to be introduced by Nick Thirkell in 1990, with Andrew Jaspan introducing more changes in 1994 to improve the newspaper's competitiveness against other national dailies. The paper's design was later made less elegant under Andrew Neil.
