Article Abstract:
The construction of a log home in Wyoming's Teton Mountains required the building of a road leading to the site, digging of a well and the installation of power lines. The house was then constructed based on the architecture of Rocky Mountain lodges.

Revolution and romance at Raynham Hall
Article Abstract:
Raynham Hall in Oyster Bay, NY, was built by Samuel Townsend in 1738 to house his wife and eight children. It served as the center for his business since he was a successful merchant and also served as a home for the British forces in 1776.

St. Memin: portraitist of an era
Article Abstract:
Charles St. Memin was an exile of the French revolution who came to the US in 1793 and worked as a portrait artist to support his family. His works are currently on exhibit at Washington, DC's National Portrait Gallery until May 29, 1995.
