Why your papers stink!
Article Abstract:
Newspapers are becoming a less popular medium in the information spectrum due to irrelevant, passive and dull stories as well as conflicts between editors and marketers. This sorry state of affairs in the newspaper industry can be prevented if newspapers reinvent themselves by eliminating news sections and replacing them with stories dealing with the hottest, toughest, most relevant and most controversial issues of the day or hard-hitting investigative reports. Newspapers can also reclaim their lost readership by enhancing their graphic designs.

Small paper blues
Article Abstract:
Small-town newspaper journalists are often envious of the perks of their city-based counterparts. They complain of the constant pressure to deliver good page layouts and draft interesting stories. They also lament that oftentimes, despite their best efforts, readers still criticize them for poor quality or bad choice of stories. Nevertheless, many of them do not wish to part from small-town life and its accompanying stories, even if offered lucrative posts at major newspapers.
