Visions of the Moon: a collector's tale
Article Abstract:
A collection of books, magazines, maps and prints of the Moon and planets is described. The items were found in second-hand and antiquarian book stores in the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America. Included are some coveted books such as Tremblett Carter's 'The People of the Moon' and H.G. Wells' 'The First Men in the Moon.'

Space events down under: the 49th International Astronautical Congress
Article Abstract:
Australia sponsored several space-related events between late September to early October 1998. Principal among these events was the 49th International Astronautical Congress which was held from Sep 28, 1998-Oct 2, 1998. The conference theme revolved around the Pacific Rim space market.
