Samuel Hahnemann, 1755-1843
Article Abstract:
Samuel Hahnemann is one of the greatest contributors to the field of medicine with his introduction of the homeopathic approach to healing. He was among the first to associate healing with the avoidance of physical, emotional and mental stresses as well as indulgence in food and drinks that were not good for the body. Homeopathy deviated from the standard practice of the time which included inflicting pain and physical punishment to mentally ill patients.
