"Best Friends" Sharing the HMGA1 Gene: Comparison of the Human and Canine HMGA1 to Orthologous Other Species
Article Abstract:
Chromosomal aberrations and overexpression of HMGA1 are discussed with regard to malignant tumor formation. Comparisons are made between canine, human, rat, hamster, murine, bovine, chicken, pig, and Xenopus HMGA1 transcripts.

Establishment of a Cell Line Derived from a Canine Prostate Carcinoma with a Highly Rearranged Karyotype

A cell line is established for a canine prostate adenocarcinoma, drawn from a collected tumor sample. Findings show a highly rearranged karyotype with a large biarmed marker; further details are provided.
