Clients of Saatchi & Saatchi have become alarmed by the defection of some of its senior executives after Maurice Saatchi resigned, with shares in the company subsequently falling 18.5%. Maurice Saatchi will form the New Saatchi Agency with three of the former top Saatchi & Saatchi executives. Saatchi & Saatchi has lost an approximate $15 million account with publishing concern the Mirror Group, electrical goods retailer Dixon's of the United Kingdom has ended its $52 million-60 million account, British Airways will end its $135 million contract by April 1995 and Mars is reviewing its $400 million account.

M&C Saatchi breaks integrated global campaign for BA

Airline British Airways (BA) has launched a $155 million, global advertising campaign through agency M and C Saatchi. The surreal 'Dreams' TV campaign was launched on 7 Jan, 1996, in 133 countries simultaneously. The campaign also includes direct mail, cinema, newspapers and posters. Commercials promote some of BA's new services, which are part of a $775 million investment program.

Maurice Saatchi helps pilot British Aiwrays relaunch

UK airline British Airways is launching a three-year, $775 million restructuring of its services, aimed at treating customers as individuals. The overhaul will include a new first class service, dubbed First, and improvements to accommodation in its Club World business class. The new campaign is being masterminded by Maurice Saatchi's new M&C Saatchi advertising agency.
