Nasal flu vaccine isn't selling well amid shortage
Article Abstract:
MedImmune Inc. has agreed to produce three million doses of its FluMist spray flu vaccine in 2005 with the encouragement of federal health officials. However, it is estimated that the company would be able to sell only about one million doses due to its inability to persuade Americans to adopt a nasal spray alternative to the standard flu shot.
