Horsham, NJ-based Reed Technology & Information Systems is attempting to bring manufacturers and purchasers together as business-to-business sales move to the Internet. Darryl Fisher, Reed's CEO, thinks that professional catalogs and directories will continue to be used by millions as online technology expands. Within Reed's 80,000-square-foot facility, employees are now proofreading, cataloging, and doing preproduction work with computers, scanners, and keyboards.
