Prices for milk-tumble as cheese market leads the way

The Pennsylvania Milk Marketing Board, which sets the minimum wholesale and retail prices of milk is cutting down the milk prices by 8 percent from July 1, 2004. The regulators are prompted to reduce the base price as, cheese, which is the biggest market for raw milk and a big influence on its price, has plummeted by 25 percent since April 2004.

Stocks rise moderately as oil falls for a 4th day

The oil prices fell for a fourth straight session and the soaring fuel prices have pressured the market for many weeks. Analysts have found that the falling oil prices gave very little incentive to the investors for buying, as the investors are worried about volatile oil prices and persistent terrorism fears.
