Bala Cynwyd firm accused of violating embargo

Bala Cynwyd-based Brotech Corp., which also operates as Purolite Corp., has been accused of violating the U.S. trade embargo against Cuba by selling a chemical to foreign firms for the eventual shipment to Cuba. The chemical is used in water purification.
