Definitely not big six
Article Abstract:
Solutions Consulting of Southpointe, PA, was established in 1992 by its CEO Mark Miller to compete with the US' Big Six accounting firms. The firm provides less costly software services particularly in enterprise resource planning systems or ERP. The key to Miller's service lies in the homely environment of its consultants who have an average of nine years working in software consulting and their compensation which include stocks and bonuses in lieu of positions in the corporate ladder. In fact, Solutions Consulting has landed important customers such as SmithKline Beecham and H.J. Heinz Co. and expects its revenues to double in 1998 to $70 million as well as in 1999 to $140 million.
