Despite difficult period, Blue Fish getting back in the swim
Article Abstract:
Blue Fish Clothing Inc. of Frenchtown, NJ, is currently under new management attempting to get the hand-printed manufacturing and retail business to profitability. The clothing retailer that charmed clients and shareholders with its originality and objective, failed to post earnings in three years and is not expected to make money in 1998. Blue Fish Clothing's new management headed by Jeffrey L. Haims aimed at turning around the firm, which lost $1.1 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 1998 as sale dropped 20.3% to $3.1 million.
