Firm hears of tax breaks and choose not to leave
Article Abstract:
Philadelphia-based Case Paper Company has chosen to stay thanks to the new tax breaks offered by the city. Case had planned to move to Bucks County, outside of Philadelphia, where they were negotiating to build a $12 million 473,000-square-foot facility. But the offer of 12 years in a tax free zone, eliminating real estate, business privilege, occupancy, corporate net income and sales taxes was too good to pass up. The new city designation will allow Case to expand to the second floor of their current building, in addition to saving the company $15 million in moving to a new area
