Mellon maps a future that will include layoffs
Article Abstract:
Mellon Bank Corp is creating a new style of banking for themselves, by creating a narrower focus. The focus would be on selling investments, loans, deposits and insurance. Included with their new stategy is the layoff of many employees in local Mellon Banks. Employees will be given an aptitude test to see if they 'fit' Mellon's new bank of the future.
