New airport runway waits in the wings

Article Abstract:

The Philadelphia International Airport is about to open a fourth runway for commuter and corporate airplanes in the northeast corner of the airport. The landing strip took 12 years to build and estimated costs of construction are pegged at $221 million. The new runway will increase the ability of the airport to handle landings and takeoffs by 5% and relieve air-traffic congestion.

Unique sales approach at unlikely Phila. site

California-based Trader Joe's, a grocery chain with an eclectic retailing approach, a loyal customer base, low prices, and employees in Polynesian garb opened its 200th store and its first in Philadelphia in 2003. Trader Joe's shelves are stocked largely with its own private-label products and avoid name brands to keep the prices low.
