Odd alliance for new tobacco
Article Abstract:
Vector Tobacco, which is a subsidiary of Miami, Fla.-based Vector Group Ltd., has formed an alliance with Amish farmers in Pennsylvania's Lancaster County to grow tobacco that will be used for the production of nicotine-free cigarettes. The tobacco will be grown from genetically modified seeds.
